When the price of gas skyrockets quickly (as it has lately), your commuting costs don’t have to do the same—if you’re an EV owner, that is. Even better, those same EV owners know ownership perks go beyond the potential of saving money per mile of driving.

There’s their blissfully quiet operation and, if you have home charging, more convenient charging versus a gas fill-up. That’s where these excellent March EV deals come into play. We’re highlighting some of the best EV deals on cars you might actually want to drive. Keep reading for this month’s selection of vehicles.

A quick note on these deals: They're correct as of publishing, but availability may vary near you. Check back next month for more EV deals.

2026 Lucid Air Tesla Supercharger Adapter EV Electric Luxury Sedan 2

2026 Lucid Air Deal: Up to $14,500 Off

We’ve seen this deal before, but that makes it no less sweet. A former Car of the Year winner can be had for $12,500 off, plus another $2,000 off if you currently own one of many eligible luxury brands Lucid mentions in the fine print.

The 2026 Lucid Air is a very good car if you can handle its potential flaws, the biggest of which is its build quality. At this point in the Air’s production run, however, we hope Lucid has improved the quality picture since the last few times we experienced the car.

If you’re still interested, this Lucid is sublime to drive across trim levels, and it feels luxurious inside. It’s a special car that happens to have a range of up to 512 miles. That’s more than many gas cars.

2026 Air deal: $12,500 off, plus $2,000 more off if you qualify for Lucid’s conquest offer.

027 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Deal: $5,000 Off Plus 0 Percent for 72 Months

Another former Of The Year winner, the Ioniq 5 SUV remains a solid pick as a spacious five-passenger EV. And with Hyundai’s EV deal, it comes closer to price parity with gas SUVs, too.

The Ioniq 5’s lineup expanded last year, with an off-road-themed XRT model joining the N performance model that’s so good, we rated it above a Corvette in a comparison.

2026 Ioniq 5 deal: $5,000 off plus 0 percent financing for 72 months, or $10,000 off.

2025 Kia EV6 1

2025 Kia EV6 Deal: $5,000 Off Plus 0 Percent for 72 Months

As the sell-down of the 2025-model-year Kia EV6 continues, so do the amazing deals. Maybe it’s the wagonlike proportions that both distinguish the 2025 EV6 as well as earn it a place on this list of the best March EV deals.

Whatever the case, it’s worth noting that this Kia placed second above rivals from Tesla, Hyundai, Toyota, and others.

2025 EV6 deal: $5,000 off plus 0 percent financing for 72 months, or up to $11,500 off.

5 2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 EV first drive

2026 Hyundai Ioniq 9 Deal: $3,000 Off Plus 0 Percent for 72 Months

One of the best electric three-row SUVs on the market is also one of the best EV deals this month. The 2026 Ioniq 9 offers families tons of what they might want: space, quiet, and a number of storage bins throughout the cabin.

Pricing starts around $60,000, however, and that price is both fair for a three-row EV and too much for anyone expecting the same price versus a gas three-row SUV. Perhaps that’s why the Ioniq 9 is offering such good deals compared to the Palisade.

2026 Ioniq 9 deal: $3,000 off plus 0 percent for 72 months, or $10,000 off.

11 2026 Tesla Model 3 AWD long range front view

2026 Tesla Model 3 Deal: 0.99 Percent for 72 Months

With the standard Hyundai Ioniq 6 heading out of production for at least one model year and the Kia EV4 delayed, electric sedan buyers have few affordable options. One notable exception is the updated Tesla Model 3, which was a Car of the Year finalist a couple years ago.

This is a good pick for folks not put off by silly door handles or an executive whose words and actions have proven offensive to some audiences.

2026 Model 3 Premium and Performance Deal: 0.99 percent for 72 months.

I’ve come a long way since I drove sugar packets across restaurant tables as a kid, pretending they were cars. With more than 17 years of experience, I'm passionate about demystifying the new car market for shoppers and enthusiasts. My expertise comes from thoughtfully reviewing countless vehicles across the automotive spectrum. The greatest thrill I get isn’t just from behind the wheel of an exotic car but from a well-executed car that’s affordable, entertaining, and well-made. Since about the time I learned to walk I’ve been fascinated by cars of all shapes and sizes, but it wasn’t until I struggled through a summer high school class at the Pasadena Art Center College of Design that I realized writing was my ticket into the automotive industry. My drive to high school was magical, taking me through a beautiful and winding canyon; I've never lost the excited feeling some 16-year-olds get when they first set out on the road. The automotive industry, singing, and writing have always been my passions, but because no one seeks a writer who sings about the automotive industry, I honed my writing and editing skills at UC Irvine (zot zot!), serving as an editor of the official campus newspaper and writing stories as a literary journalism major. At USC, I developed a much greater appreciation for broadcast journalists and became acquainted with copy editing rules such as why the Oxford comma is so important. Though my beloved 1996 Audi A4 didn’t survive my college years, my career with MotorTrend did. I started at the company in 2007 building articles for motorcycle magazines, soon transitioning to writing news posts for MotorTrend’s budding online department. I spent some valuable time in the copy editing department, as an online news director, and as a senior production editor. Today, MotorTrend keeps me busy as the Buyer's Guide Director. Not everyone has a career centered on one of their passions, and I remind myself all the time how lucky I am.
