In case you hadn’t heard by now, the 250th anniversary of the founding of the U.S. is this year, and much like fellow Stellantis brand Ram has done, Dodge has also decided to mark the occasion with a special edition 2026 Dodge Durango. Debuting at the New York auto show, the Durango GT America250 Edition will let you celebrate freedom with a choice of a V-6 or a Hemi V-8.

The 2026 Durango GT A250, as Dodge has shortened it to, is being produced in partnership with America250, the nonpartisan organization created by Congress to commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence and America’s 250th.

Although Dodge’s three-row SUV isn’t decked out in a red-white-and-blue paint scheme, the Durango GT A250 will feature body color options that include Red Oxide, White Knuckle, Night Moves (dark blue), Destroyer Gray, and Diamond Black. The White Knuckle paint job will also be able to receive an exclusive set of star-pattern stripes with blue tracer accents. For all Durango GT AWDs, there will also be American Flag decals found just over the America250 badges on the front fenders while another America250 badge will be found on the tailgate. Finally, a set of 20-inch Black Noise wheels closes out this special exterior treatment.

Inside, the A250 Edition will have premium touches like Black Laguna leather seats with blue perforations, an American flag embossed on the front seat backs, and red-and-white accent stitching. The steering wheel will feature red-white-and-blue tricolor stitching and join the forged carbon fiber trim and Demonic Red seat belts.

Under the hood, the 2026 Durango GT America250 Edition will feature an AWD powertrain mated to either the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 outputting 295 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque and the GT Plus trim or the 5.7-liter Hemi V-8 with 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque with the GT Plus or GT Premium trim. The GT Premium also adds additional content and convenience features like available second-row captain’s chairs, a Harman Kardon 19-speaker audio system, power sunroof, and more. Owners will also receive a custom leather key tag that features an embossed America250 and Dodge logos on one side and a printed cloth American flag graphic on the other.

The 2026 Dodge Durango GT America250 Edition order books are scheduled to open by early April. The GT Plus AWD A250 will start at $51,585 while the GT Hemi Plus starts off at $53,265 and the Hemi Premium will leave the dealer lot for $56,265.
